VALDOSTA – The City of Valdosta Main Street announces the return of the Movies in the Park series for residents at the Unity Park Amphitheater.

The City of Valdosta Main Street is excited to announce the return of the highly anticipated Movies in the Park series! Held at the scenic Unity Park Amphitheater (301 E. Central Avenue), this community favorite provides a perfect setting for families and friends to enjoy a fun evening under the stars.

Films begin at dusk and visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good spot. Entry to the event is free, making it an ideal outing for everyone. In addition to the films, refreshments will be available for purchase, including classic cinema snacks, to round out the experience.

The 2024 Movies in the Park series includes:

• Against all rules – 21 September 2024
  Start the series with this inspiring sports drama that celebrates teamwork, resilience and unity.
• Hocus Pocus – 25 October 2024
  Be enchanted by Halloween and celebrate the Witches Night Out festivities with this beloved story about three witches and their entertaining adventures in modern-day Salem.
• Free Bird – 16 November 2024
  Enjoy this fun animated film for the whole family about a pair of turkeys who travel through time to change the course of history.
• How the Grinch stole Christmas – 14 December 2024
  Get excited about the holiday spirit ahead! As the year draws to a close, celebrate the holidays with a heartwarming classic that’s great for all ages. So, get your blankets and hot cocoa ready and prepare for giggles and cheers!
