Cleveland Metroparks brings back FallFest and Touch-a-Truck events

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Get ready to ring in fall at Cleveland Metroparks with the return of two of their most iconic events: Touch-a-Truck and FallFest.

“These two popular fall events are wonderful, free opportunities to discover and connect through hands-on learning,” said Brian M. Zimmerman, CEO of Cleveland Metroparks.

Touch a truck

The 13th Annual Touch-a-Truck event will be held on the first day of fall at Brookside Reservation.

According to Cleveland Metroparks, you can look forward to:

“This free outdoor event allows children to get behind the wheel of approximately 50 vehicles, including construction vehicles and equipment used to maintain and preserve the Cleveland Metroparks.

Kids can also explore additional outdoor play opportunities in a 40-ton sandpit, ride the Whistle Express Car Wash Trackless Train and interact with costumed characters.”

This event will take place at 3900 John Nagy Blvd. in Cleveland.

It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Touch-a-Truck participants also receive $5 discounted admission to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on the same day.
