The Friends of the Library’s fall book sale will take place again in Casper in September

CASPER, Wyoming – The Friends of the Library Fall 2024 Book Sale will be held September 19-21 at the Natrona County Library in Casper.

According to a statement from the library, time slot reservations are already fully booked.

“The donations this summer have been incredible,” they said. “Our sales include books and items generously donated by the community, as well as discarded items from the library. We have a large number of discarded books on CDs from the library for this sale. In addition, dozens of cookbooks have arrived.”

Other areas of interest include arts and crafts, DVDs, crime novels and children’s books, which were well represented by donations this year.

To ease the rush, appointments are required for the time slots. These appointments can be arranged online.

There are various options available during the three sales days. These include:

  • There will be an early bird sale on Thursday, September 19th. Customers who book for that day will pay $20 at the door for entry to the sale. Sessions will last two hours and items will be sold at regular prices. Friday, September 20th is the
  • Second Chance Sale. Customers pay $10 admission at the door. Sessions last two hours and items are sold at regular price.
  • On Saturday, September 21, there will be no admission charge for the one-hour sessions and items will be sold at regular price.
