Logan Lucky is a heist comedy action film about two brothers, Jimmy (Channing Tatum) and Clyde Logan (Adam Driver), who plan to rob the Charlotte Motor Speedway during a NASCAR race in North Carolina. The brothers are unlucky and come up with an ingenious plan to change their fate.
To pull off the heist, they recruit a team of misfits, including their sister Mellie (Riley Keough) and an eccentric demolition expert named Joe Bang (Daniel Craig), who they must temporarily break out of prison to help with the robbery. Logan Lucky has been described as a “hillbilly heist film” and plays on the theme of misfits trying to outsmart a system that is stacked against them.

Of course, not all critics will agree. Mick LaSalle of San Francisco Chronicle said: “It is a real effort by talented people that never quite succeeds.”
