JetBlue launches Mint service – AeroXplorer.com

To accommodate the massive increase in travel during ski season, JetBlue will expand service to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in Montana. In addition, the airline will expand its service offerings by introducing its coveted Mint Business Class product to the city.

Service extensions

JetBlue currently serves Bozeman (BZN) with seasonal flights from its hubs in Boston (BOS) and New York (JFK). During Montana’s peak season, JetBlue announced in a press release that it would launch Mint Business Class to Bozeman.

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, JetBlue’s flights from Boston and JFK to Bozeman will be operated with Airbus A321s in Mint configuration. However, at other times of the week, JetBlue will continue to operate its standard A321 “Core” in pure economy configuration.

Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Bozeman is teeming with travelers in the winter to enjoy the area’s scenic ski resorts and all that Bozeman has to offer in terms of winter activities.

JetBlue says the addition of Mint service to Bozeman reflects the company’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its customers. Mint Business Class is widely regarded as one of the best in the United States and solidifies the airline’s position as a leader in premium leisure travel.

Dave Jehn, Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships at JetBlue, commented on this service update:

“We are excited to introduce our award-winning Mint experience to Bozeman and Big Sky, enhancing the travel experience for our customers flying from Boston and New York. With the launch of Mint and increased frequency of flights on weekends, we aim to provide our customers with first-class travel options and make their trip to Bozeman and back an exceptional experience.”

Evolving strategy

JetBlue’s addition of Mint service to Bozeman is part of the airline’s efforts to provide customers with exceptional experiences in popular destinations.

This is all part of the airline’s ‘JetForward’ strategy, which sees the airline focus on leisure and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) routes from its strongholds in the North East to reinforce its position as a leading provider of leisure and premium holiday travel.

JetBlue is the largest airline in Boston offering lie-flat seats on domestic flights, meaning they offer more lie-flat seats out of Boston than even established airlines Delta and American.

JetBlue recently launched Mint service to Vancouver, Canada (YVR) and San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), underscoring its commitment to enhancing the travel experience on leisure and VFR routes.

In the Mint cabin, passengers can enjoy fully flat beds with Tuft & Needle foam cushions, comforters and pillows. Each seat has a 15-inch (or larger) television screen with free on-demand programming and live TV.

The dining experience will be provided by Delicious Hospitality Group (DHG) restaurants, and passengers will also receive priority check-in and boarding. In addition, passengers will receive onboard amenity kits and have free internet access throughout the flight.
