According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, one person was killed in a collision between a car and a pedestrian at a construction site near the Holly Park Pool and Tennis Center in Centennial on Monday morning.
In a post on X, sheriff’s officials said the northbound lanes of South Holly Street between East Arapahoe Road and East Weaver Avenue have been closed since 11 a.m. due to the accident.
The sheriff’s office confirmed at noon that the accident was fatal.
The road is expected to be closed for several hours, sheriff’s officials said.
