There are times when social customs require you to keep your mouth shut.

Most people in this story think a wedding is such an occasion. However, OP disagrees.

See what he did and why the bride is angry.

I love photography and have agreed to photograph my brother’s wedding.

His bride-to-be Chelsea showed me her wedding makeup and she wore these bright green contact lenses.

Here are some interesting technical insights.

They looked extremely reptilian on her because they didn’t match her undertone.

When she showed me the picture, I told her that she looked pretty, but that the contact lenses were not the best.

She seemed a little offended and told me she just wanted to “look exotic like you.”

I offered to find her some more natural contacts, but she didn’t give up.

I showed her the photos at the wedding in case she wanted to change them because they looked even worse on camera. She said no.

Then OP crossed another line…

So I asked her if I should edit the contrast a bit.

She became extremely defensive and accused me of calling her ugly on her own wedding day.

Of course that wasn’t my intention, but I left early to avoid a scene.

This is what people say:

“Komodo dragon” blew me away. That’s true! Even if she wanted to look like a reptile, that’s valid. Psst.

Right? That’s so rude and tasteless.

Exactly. It’s almost as if he wants a certain look for his portfolio and wants to force clients to adhere to it.
