GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado (KKCO) – “Work hard. Be kind. Find a way.”
James Ferguson traveled around the state of Colorado for work. To get a feel for the city, he visited a local coffee shop and brewery on each trip. Ferguson never went to a chain restaurant. Eventually, with a new mission in mind, he and his wife Amanda decided to start their own business.
Colorado Craft Coffee and Beer House has many qualities that make it unique. Rather than enter a competition, the Fergusons have chosen to represent. They bring coffee roasts and brews from across the state of Colorado. They change their brands every week to always have something new on the shelf.
The team ensure that the business has something for everyone. For those with gluten intolerance, there is always cider available on tap. They also offer free substitutions with every coffee order.
The cafe is located across from Colorado Mesa University. It is not affiliated with the university, but welcomes students and faculty. All Mavs receive a discount on their drinks.
The Fergusons welcome everyone with open arms. Everyone from the community is welcome. They also invite people to host events, parties and meetings in their lobby.
There are two different events every week. Beer Bingo is a fun family event that takes place on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Winners receive a free drink of their choice. The other event is a quiz on Friday nights. The event starts at 6:30pm but it is recommended to come early as the place fills up quickly. Outside food is always welcome.

Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8am–9pm
Sunday: 8am–12pm
