Enigma Ekatva team conducts successful tree plantation campaign in Yogi Hills

As part of a spirited celebration of the 77th Indian Independence Day, the Enigma Fest team from RA Podar College in collaboration with Podar’s Natures Club at Yogi Hills, Mulund organised a grand tree plantation drive. The initiative, borne out of the college’s commitment to environmental sustainability, was enthusiastically received by students, faculty and local residents. The drive began at 7 am, with participants gathering at the scenic Yogi Hills to plant over 60 saplings of indigenous tree species. The event was part of Enigma Fest’s broader community outreach efforts focused on improving green spaces and promoting environmental awareness among the youth.

“We are delighted with the overwhelming response from our college community and the people of Mulund,” said Aryan Maurya, organizer of Enigma Fest. “On this Independence Day, we wanted to make a meaningful contribution to the environment and this tree planting drive is a step towards a greener and more sustainable future.” The event was carefully planned and the Enigma Fest team ensured that each sapling was planted with care and instructions on long-term care were provided.

The participants were educated on the importance of reforestation and conservation and the role of trees in combating climate change, promoting biodiversity and improving air quality. This tree planting event at Yogi Hills was not only a significant contribution to environmental conservation but also highlighted the Enigma Fest team’s commitment to social responsibility. The initiative reflects RA Podar College’s commitment to nurturing responsible and environmentally conscious citizens.
