The internet is full of countless hilarious showdowns, and while I try to stay up to date, sometimes I miss a few. I hope you’ll forgive me for being a month late here. This “Karen” incident occurred at a movie theater in Manchester, Connecticut, over an assigned seat.

The video was posted on TikTok by @erin.walton5 on July 21, 2024, with the caption:

The clip attracted so much attention that it was picked up by TMZ this week.

We have a saying on the I-95 Morning Show: “Good on the inside, bad on the outside.” What we mean by that is that sometimes it’s just not worth leaving the house. Things out there have become so bizarre and volatile that you have to be mentally prepared for chaos every time you step outside.

When I’m not at work, I’m constantly on edge, expecting disaster to happen around every corner – and that’s no way to live. I see it like this: at home, I’m the king in my castle, surrounded by my comforts. But as soon as I go outside, anything is possible and I could find adults throwing punches in the movies.

No thanks – I’d rather stay at home, watch something on Amazon Prime, make some mozzarella sticks in the air fryer and call it a day.
