In a rematch of the 2023 MLS Cup final Columbus Crew will take over Los Angeles FC this Sunday at Lower.com Field, in the fight for the 2024 League Cup Trophy.

The Crew secured their place in the final with a 3-1 win over Philadelphia Union, while LAFC recorded a comfortable 4-0 victory over Colorado Rapids.

The defending MLS Cup champions just beat Philadelphia Union 3-1, with Diego Rossi scoring twice and Juan “Cucho” Hernandez also netting to give the Crew a home win.

After losing to Pachuca in the CONCACAF Champions Cup final in June, Columbus will be looking to bounce back this weekend and add some trophies to its collection.

LAFC, on the other hand, head into the finals after a commanding 4-0 home win over Western Conference rivals Colorado Rapids. Denis Bouanga is in top form and the defense is putting in a solid performance, so they go into the showdown at Lower.com Field with a lot of momentum.
