She doesn’t invite her best friend to her wedding after she criticizes her fiancé and suggests he’s not good enough – Chip Chick

It is a terrible feeling when close friends do not approve of your partner, especially for petty and unimportant reasons.

A woman decided not to invite her best friend to her upcoming wedding after her best friend made mean comments about her fiancé on social media and in person.

She is 30 and is getting ready to marry her 32-year-old fiancé Alex in a few months. She has been with Alex for three years and the two are very excited to start the next chapter of their lives as a married couple.

One of her closest friends is Emma, who she has known for over a decade. Emma has always been an important part of her life, but now she isn’t sure if she can keep her in her inner circle.

She and Alex hosted several pre-wedding parties and gatherings attended by their closest family and friends.

One of these parties was a small dinner party where many of her friends met Alex for the first time.

“During dinner, Emma made several comments about Alex that were hurtful and inappropriate,” she said.

“She questioned his career choices, made fun of his hobbies and even suggested that he wasn’t good enough for me. Her comments shocked and hurt me.”

She decided to brush off Emma’s words at dinner because she knew Emma knew how much she loved Alex and hoped Emma would stop.
