Charlotte Dawson has postponed her wedding until after the coronavirus pandemic.

Although there is no end date to the global health crisis, the 29-year-old star wants to celebrate her wedding to rugby player Matt Sarsfield for a week without COVID, so the nuptials will not take place “in the near future.”

She said: “I would love to get married, but how is that possible with everything that is happening?

“I want a wedding that lasts a whole week! I don’t want just a daytime wedding.”

“So unfortunately that won’t happen anytime soon. But at least now I know I’ll look fabulous in a wedding dress!”

Charlotte gave birth to her son Noah in January last year and after welcoming her and Matt’s little boy into the world, she “continued to eat normally and did not exercise.”

But after some negative reactions on her Instagram account and her doctor telling her she was about to be put on insulin, Charlotte is now trying to develop a healthier lifestyle, but still enjoys her favorite foods in moderation.

She added to The Sun Online: “I still eat chips and gravy but the portion sizes are just not extra, extra, extra big.”

“I used to eat large portions of fish and chips with sausage and gravy on top – it was simply unnecessary.

“But I still have fun and still drink Prosecco, just not as much as I used to.”

In March, Charlotte admitted that motherhood had taught her to accept her body.

She said: “I just want other mums and other women to feel good. We can’t be so hard on ourselves. Of course, I don’t take myself seriously, as you all know, so I just accept every single stretch mark, all my sagginess. You just have to accept it, work with it, dance with it, shake it! And laugh about it.

“I can’t sugarcoat it. Of course there are days when you don’t want to get up or put on makeup or do your hair. I see some moms who go straight back to the gym and eat healthy. That’s just not a normal mom’s life.”
