When I returned from vacation last weekend (which was the end of the My Summer), I decided it was time to retire my flip-flops for the year. But that left a huge gap in my wardrobe – without my sandals, I don’t have a comfortable shoe that’s ready to go. So I went on the hunt for a replacement and discovered once again that the brand behind every celebrity’s favorite summer shoe makes the perfect slides for fall.

I was shocked that I had forgotten about Birkenstock’s Boston clogs, which are so popular that they’ve been sold out almost every time for the past few years. The slipper is the go-to for pretty much every cool Hollywood girl, including Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber and Zoë Kravitz, probably because they’re comfortable, practical and, yes, cute.

While this model is notoriously difficult to get hold of, I’ve found a number of the viral clogs in stock *and* on rare special prices at Gilt—all you need is an email address to create an account and access the deals.

Birkenstock Boston suede clog

If you’re not familiar with Gilt, the company offers premium brands like Ugg and Birkenstock, as well as luxury designers, at much (much) cheaper prices. The catch? Inventory is usually pretty limited and items sell out quickly (so don’t wait to snag your size). Birkenstock’s Boston Clog is one of the latest styles to be included in the retailer’s clearance sale. The slides, which come in nine colors, start at $130.

Made from soft suede and leather, the Boston clogs are easy to slip on and have a buckle that lets you adjust the fit of the shoe—and they look pretty chic, too. And like Birkenstock’s famous Arizona sandals, this clog has a cushioned cork footbed that conforms to your foot. “The arch support is excellent and the soft footbed makes me want to wear these shoes every day,” wrote one fan of the shoes on Zappos, while another said the clogs provide great pain relief for his plantar fasciitis.

While the most popular version of the Boston clog is the classic suede model, you can also snag other eye-catching styles—like shearling-lined pairs—at Gilt’s Birkenstock sale before it ends.
