Police working to identify and arrest armed robbery suspect in Central Florida

Police are working to identify and arrest an armed robbery suspect in Central Florida.

The Tampa police The department is asking the public for help in identifying the suspect involved in an armed robbery on the morning of August 9th.

The armed suspect seen in the video entered the 29th Street Grocery store at 2802 N 29th St., pointed a gun at the clerk, threatened him and demanded money. The clerk was not injured.

Investigators have released the video clip of the suspect below and are asking the public to watch it carefully.

The suspect was wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering over his head. He was also wearing black and gray camouflage shorts, black Nike slippers and has a noticeable scar on his stomach. According to local police, he fled the scene on his bicycle, heading north on 29th Street.
