Before Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck formally separated, they shot the upcoming film Unstoppable together.

The film from Amazon MGM Studios comes from Affleck’s production company Artists Equity, which he founded with his longtime friend. Matt DamonAffleck and Damon are among the 14 producers on the project, and Lopez will appear on the big screen as one of the actors.

Affleck and Lopez, who married in July 2022, have worked together before as co-stars to 2003 Gigli and 2004 Jersey Girls; both films were notorious critical and commercial flops. In May 2024, it was announced that the couple was have problems in their marriage, one year after Affleck said it was a “joy” to work with his wife and joked that her role in the film was “a favor” to him.

“What fun, what a joy to do something with her, to see how great she is, to go to work with your wife, to go to work with your best friend,” Affleck said during an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning in March 2023. “If you don’t like the people you work with and you’re having difficulties or problems at work, I think that’s one of the things that can really cause depression, anxiety and pain in people – and vice versa, (if) you like the people at work.”

Although the producer-actor dynamic is different than seeing the two on screen together, Lopez said she would “maybe” consider acting alongside her husband “in the right thing.”

“I mean, we love working together and being together, so maybe,” said the singer diversity beginning of the year.

In summer 2024 We weekly confirmed that Lopez and Affleck were living “separate lives” in different homes. In August of this year, Lopez filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The estranged couple has not commented further on the split or whether the promotion of Unstoppable to be affected.

Unstoppable is an autobiographical documentary that follows the wrestler’s journey Anthony Robleswho was born with one leg, won a national championship in 2011 while competing at Arizona State University.

According to IMDb, Robles is currently “the head wrestling coach at his alma mater, Mesa High School, and has also made a career as a motivational speaker.”
