Milwaukee Police Respond to Multi-Car Crash Near Sherman & Villard

MILWAUKEE – TMJ4 is trying to find out more about a significant police presence near a crash at the intersection of Sherman and Villard.

The incident occurred on Friday evening, August 23. Several police squads and firefighters were on site.

TMJ4 responders found that at least one person was taken to an ambulance and that at least four cars were involved in the accident.

“When I saw that, I thought no one made it out of there,” said Tandem Hubbard, who was driving by.

Police searched the area with canine units and TMJ4 crews observed officers arresting a person from a house in the area.

“Milwaukee is beautiful, but it’s hard to enjoy the city and feel safe while doing so. You can’t stand on street corners, you can’t walk near the street, you can’t even drive a car because of things like this,” Hubbard said.
