Hosts Scotland face Austria in the second semi-final of qualifying round A of the Women’s Euro Hockey Championship on Saturday. The match will be streamed live on the BBC Sport Scotland website and app.
The Czech Republic and Wales will play the first semi-final at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre, kicking off at 12:00 (CEST) before their potential final opponents begin their match at 14:15.
Only the eventual winners of Sunday’s final will qualify for the Women’s Hockey European Championship, which will be held next August at the Warsteiner HockeyPark in Mönchengladbach.
Wales swept Croatia 7-0 on Thursday to reach the semi-finals, while Austria narrowly beat Lithuania 1-0 to prepare for their match against the Scots.
The home team, the highest-ranked team in the competition who received a bye into the semi-finals, welcome back captain Sarah Robertson, Amy Costello, Charlotte Watson and Jess Buchanan, who have just represented the British women at the Paris Olympic Games.
Scotland have participated in two consecutive EuroHockey Championships and won gold at the last EuroHockey Championship on home soil.

“Seeing our U21 team win a gold medal in Turkey recently motivated everyone in the group.
