The world’s thinnest foldable phone will also be priced below the Galaxy Z Fold 6

An engineering marvel, the maker of the world’s thinnest foldable phone is gearing up to unveil it globally next month at IFA 2024 in Berlin. The Honor Magic V3 is not only the slimmest foldable phone at just 9.2mm when closed, but it also surpasses the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6’s specs in every other way imaginable.

It’s lighter and much more compact, but still has a better camera with periscope zoom, a bigger battery and charges faster. To this list of advantages we must now add a comparable global price.
In markets where the Honor Magic V3 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 are sold at the same time, the world’s slimmest foldable device costs the same or slightly less than Samsung’s phone, despite its superior specs and design.
According to a credible source, the launch price of the Honor Magic V3 in Europe will be €1,999, while in the UK it will cost £1,699. For comparison, that’s as much as the 256 GB Galaxy Z Fold 6 Cost outside of limited-time special offers and a hundred pounds less than the price of the Z Fold 6 in the UK.

In addition, the global Magic V3 version is expected to come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while an Amazon-exclusive Z Fold 6 version in Europe will cost just under €2,199 or £1,999.99.

The Honor Magic V3 is expected to be offered in black, brown and green, and after playing with it in the office, it seems to be worth its price compared to the Z Fold 6.

It feels like a Kindle in your hand, only with a huge display, one of the most powerful cameras on a foldable phoneand a compact form factor when closed that blurs the lines between phones with “rigid” and foldable displays like nothing before.
