(LONDON) — Divers in Italy have recovered the last missing body, believed to be that of Hannah Lynch, from the superyacht that sank off the coast of Sicily, ABC News has learned.

By early Thursday morning, five bodies had been recovered, but the body of the last missing passenger – believed to be Hannah Lynch, the 18-year-old daughter of the yacht’s owner, British technology magnate Mike Lynch – was found inside the yacht but could not be brought ashore.

It is believed that Mike Lynch’s body is among those already recovered from the yacht, but the identity of the dead has not yet been officially confirmed.

A local fire department spokesman told ABC News that rescue teams were having a “very difficult” task finding those still missing after the superyacht sank on Monday.

Luca Cari said on Wednesday that the rescue operation for the missing people from the British-flagged ship Bayesian was still ongoing. The vessel sank in stormy weather early Monday about half a mile off the fishing village of Porticello, near the city of Palermo.

Divers worked inside the yacht for two days, Cari added. “But the work is very hard because there are big obstacles and we have to work in very tight spaces.”

“It’s a long process and we can only operate in short intervals,” Cari said. Divers have to rotate constantly, and each one can only stay underwater for about 12 minutes, he said.

Among the missing are two Americans – Christopher and Neda Morvillo, ABC News confirmed on Tuesday.

Christopher Morvillo is a partner at the law firm Clifford Chance and represented Lynch in his recent fraud case against Hewlett Packard. He is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

Among the six missing passengers are Morgan Stanley International CEO Jonathan Bloomer and his wife Anne Elizabeth Judith Bloomer.
