Foxx Development, the first tenant at Hines’ Brittania Tech Park in San Diego’s Otay Mesa submarket, has doubled its rent and added an additional 50,572 square feet of prime industrial space in addition to an initial 50,573 square foot lease signed just last month. Irvine-based Foxx is expanding its footprint to scale its product manufacturing and distribution operations and will now occupy 100% of the 101,145 square foot building at 7222 Airway Rd.

Britannia Tech Park is owned by Hines through Hines US Property Partners (HUSPP), its flagship fund for mixed US core-plus projects, and has a total of 19,850 square metres of space in two sales/R&D/manufacturing buildings that will be completed in 2023. HUSPP acquired the project and the two buildings from the original developer following completion late last year.
