South County man believes video showing theft from his truck could help police solve teen’s death

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (First Alert 4) – A south St. Louis County man believes his video showing two suspects rummaging through his truck on Clyde Avenue and stealing his gun could help police hunt for a teenager’s killer.

On Thursday afternoon, St. Louis County police identified 16-year-old Amorion Fuller as the victim found shot to death Tuesday in the 300 block of Goetz Avenue in Lemay.

The police say they do not believe it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Several hours before Fuller was found, surveillance video showed two suspects searching his truck, according to Jasmine Dizdarevic.

St. Louis County Police confirmed to First Alert 4 that a firearm was stolen from Dizdarevic’s unlocked truck shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Dizdarevic said he handed the video over to police the same evening he filed the report.

“There’s a murderer out there on the loose, or what else could happen,” Dizdarevic said. “And besides, the big question is: Where’s my gun? I really wish the police could address this right now.”

First Alert 4 asked police if they analyzed Dizdarevic’s video and whether the stolen gun was connected to Fuller’s death.

Police responded, “These are all good questions and will of course be part of the investigation. I don’t know any of the answers, but we encourage anyone with information, tips or videos to contact our investigators through our Office of Communications at 636-529-8210.”

Dizdarevic told us that detectives informed him on Wednesday that they had tracked down the suspects in connection with the theft of his gun.

“They went to the 15-year-old’s house and asked him questions, and he basically gave them the exact description of my FN 509 pistol,” Dizdarevic said. “They don’t know if it was used in this incident or if it was something else.”
