IRVINE, California – The Big West Conference announced the remaining 18 conference games for the 2024–25 season on August 22, with the UC Davis women’s basketball team returning to conference play and hosting Cal State Bakersfield on January 2, 2025, and CSUN on January 4, 2025.
Once again, the Big West has set up a mirrored conference schedule, with the women and men playing the same opponents both home and away. So when the Aggie women are at home against Cal State Bakersfield, the Aggie men are in Bakersfield, California.
The final 18 games are part of a total of 20 conference games the Aggies will play, with the first two games taking place the weekend of Dec. 5-7. On the conference opening weekend, UC Davis will play a game at Cal Poly on Dec. 5 and a visit to UC Santa Barbara on Dec. 7.
The weekend of Jan. 2-4 at UC Davis will mark the first conference games of the season for the Aggie women at the University Credit Union Center. Visits to Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach State the weekend of Jan. 9-11 mark the next conference games for the Aggies.
From Jan. 16 to Feb. 15, the Aggies will play seven of nine games at home, beginning with a weekend home series against Cal Poly (Jan. 16) and Santa Barbara (Jan. 18). The only road games during that period are a trip to Hawaii on Jan. 23 and a visit to UC Riverside on Feb. 13.
Between trips to Hawaii and Riverside, the Aggies will play at home for two consecutive weekends, hosting Riverside and UC Irvine the weekend of Jan. 30-Feb. 1 and Long Beach State and Fullerton the weekend of Feb. 6-8.
The Aggies’ final two home games will be against UC San Diego (February 15) and Hawaii on March 1. Of their final six games, the Aggies will play four away games, including the final weekend of the regular season.
On the weekend of Feb. 20-22, UC Davis travels to Bakersfield and CSUN. And on the final weekend of the regular season, the Aggies visit Irvine on March 6 and finish play in San Diego on March 8.
The Big West Women’s Basketball Championship begins on March 12 at the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nevada and runs through the finals on Saturday, March 15.
