the Food Truck Festival is coming to Goodyear this September

GOODYEAR, AZ – The West Valley Mavericks Foundation is bringing dozens of vendors to its annual food truck festival, “The Round Up!”

“This event has been going on for about nine years now, so we’re very, very excited and it continues to grow every year. The best part is that general admission is free, so people don’t necessarily have to pay to attend the event. And there are so many fun and exciting things to do while you’re there,” event chairman Nate Reilly told ABC15.

This year, over 60 food trucks and vendors are expected to bring a wide variety of food and drinks to the festival!

“We work with a group called ‘Twin Flames’ and they do a great job setting up our food trucks. They have food trucks with Philly cheese steaks, seafood, sushi, desserts, tacos, churros, frozen drinks, popcorn… anything you can imagine, they have at this food truck festival,” Reilly said.

The event features live music, kids areas and a drone show!

This event is about more than just food and drinks, the West Valley Mavericks Foundation also wants to give back to the community.

“The goal is to raise money for (…) over 85 charities in the West Valley. Typically, at an event, we choose one charity to highlight. This year’s charity is called ‘HopeKids’ and provides ongoing activities and a unique support community for families whose children are battling cancer or other life-threatening illnesses,” Reilly explained.
