Chris Pratt gets to work on the set of his new film The Path of the Warrior Child.

On Thursday (August 22), the 45-year-old actor was spotted filming for the project in Los Angeles. This is the first time we have seen him working on the film, which is based on a novel of the same name by Jock Willink.

He had a clean-shaven face and was dressed simply in khaki pants and a short-sleeved button-down shirt.

According to Deadline, Skydance snapped up the film in June, making it one of the biggest deals at Cannes in years.

Chris will play a character named Jake, “an elite Navy SEAL” who develops a special bond with his nephew after moving in with his sister.

Here’s a synopsis from the outlet: “When Jake discovers that his 11-year-old nephew Marc is struggling academically, socially and physically, he embarks on a new mission: using his three summer months of SEAL Team training to help the teen discover his inner warrior.”
