Shots fired near CSI campus in Twin Falls
On the night of August 21, 2024, an argument near the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) campus in Twin Falls escalated into gunfire. According to Twin Falls police, officers were dispatched to the tennis courts at around 9:46 p.m. after receiving reports of a possible shooting.

Details of the incident
Upon arrival, police found several people at the scene. One victim who was involved in the altercation spoke with investigators but did not fully cooperate. He confirmed that three shots were fired at his unoccupied vehicle during the altercation. Fortunately, no one was hit or injured in the incident.
Investigation ongoing
Authorities stressed that there is currently no evidence that a person was shot. The investigation is ongoing and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
“If anyone in the community has information regarding this incident, they are asked to contact Detective Tracy Thompson at 208-308-7279,” the department said.
