As laid out in the issue, this version of the Brotherhood controls a cold reactor, the only thing that can restore power to half the world after Magneto’s death triggers a massive EMP. In
Revenge,
Colossus and Deadpool are teammates for practical purposes, and in the first issue there is no indication that they care about each other beyond that or that they are even friends.

While Colossus and Deadpool have circled each other in various teams and books over the decades, it was their dynamic in Fox’s Dead Pool Films that actually established a (reluctant) friendship between the two. Since then, books have been published, including the most recent work by writer Benjamin Percy X-Force Run, brought the two together as team members, although their interpersonal relationship hasn’t reached the level it has in the movies. Still, the pairing has natural advantages; Deadpool is full of sarcasm and jokes, while Colossus is almost embarrassingly serious and smug.

That is, the Versions of the characters from Wolverine – Revenge of the Fallen have very little in common with their counterparts from the film. Until now, Deadpool has been portrayed closer to his original 1990s depiction, as a ruthless mercenary with no regard for human life. Colossus, on the other hand, is more ideologically driven than ever and wants to restore Russia’s dominance on the world stage by controlling the world’s energy supply. In Revenge, Colossus and Deadpool are teammates for practical purposes, and in the first issue there is no indication that they care about each other beyond that or that they are even friends.

Even if there’s a chance Wolverine can save Colossus or Deadpool, the traditional allies are sure to come to blows soon as Logan’s bloody revenge begins.

It remains to be seen whether Colossus and Deadpool can no longer be saved

One question is whether Colossus and Deadpool both work for the Brotherhood of their own free will. The team is led by Mastermind, who can create illusions to control people, so it’s possible that either Deadpool or Colossus aren’t completely in control of themselves. However, this is a dramatically different Marvel Universe, so perhaps they’re only evil in this reality. Even if there’s a chance wolverine can either save colossus or Dead PoolThere will surely soon be a scuffle between the traditional allies as Logan’s bloody revenge begins.
