TNT Sports’ Mountain West football coverage includes Mike Golic Jr. and Victor Cruz

Earlier this summer, TNT Sports and the Mountain West Conference agreed to a multi-year media rights deal for college football games to be broadcast on truTV and Max beginning this season. Under the new deal, truTV and Max will present 14 Mountain West college football games during the inaugural season, beginning with a kickoff matchup between San Jose State and Sacramento State on Thursday, August 29 at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST.

Ari Wolfe will provide live commentary for the game, joined by analyst Darius Walker and reporter Jared Greenberg. Two nights later, coverage continues for opening week when the San Diego State Aztecs take on the Texas A&M Commerce Lions, with the same commentary team in attendance.

Beginning in the second week of the season and on doubleheader nights throughout the year, JB Long will provide live commentary on the games alongside analyst Mike Golic Jr. Long has worked as a live commentator for the Los Angeles Rams since 2016 and has also commentated on football and various other sports for the Pac-12 Network until this year. Golic, who also GoJo and Golic daily morning podcast on DraftKings Network, was an Academic All-American at Notre Dame before working at ESPN as a host and football analyst. Other reporters who will be involved in coverage throughout the season include Lauren Jbara, Nabil Karim and Bridget Howard.

Studio coverage on TNT Sports will be hosted year-round by Adam Lefkoe and will include a roster of analysts with game experience. Former NFL cornerback and Pro Football Hall of Fame member Champ Bailey will be part of the studio panel, a Georgia University graduate who earned All-America, All-SEC and Bronko Nagurski honors. Joining him in the studio are 15-year NFL veteran Takeo Spikes and former Super Bowl champion Victor Cruz. Mountain West football on truTV and Max will include 30-minute pregame and postgame shows with news and analysis surrounding the conference and college football as a whole.

TNT Sports will televise college football this season for the first time since 2006. Under a sublicensing agreement with ESPN, the company will also broadcast two first-round games of the College Football Playoffs each of the next two seasons. Beginning with the 2026 season, TNT Sports will add two quarterfinal games each year through the 2028 season.
