Someone tell Chick-Fil-A that there are already enough streaming services on the airwaves. We don’t really need another one. Chick-Fil-A needs to clean up its complex stance on LGBTQ+ (they’ve promised to improve, so we’ll see) and focus on the food. But of course, Chick-Fil-A didn’t ask for our opinion, or we would have told them that streaming service prices are going up every day and people aren’t thrilled about it. We’re not really sure that launching a Chick-Fil-A+ plus streaming service will help much there. That said, Chick-fil-A is planning to launch a streaming service for reality TV content. That’s pretty odd, we have to say.

Deadline reports that “the fast-food company has partnered with a number of major production companies, including some studios, to develop family-friendly shows, particularly in the unscripted space. It is also in talks to license and acquire content.” Perhaps the streaming service Chick-Fil-A Chicken race to its platform once it launches. Yes, Chick-Fil-A Originals will soon be on both our screens and our tables.

The program includes “a family-friendly game show from Glassman Media, the company behind NBC’s The walland Michael Sugar’s Sugar23, which is behind series such as Netflix’s Dead girls don’t lie.” The series is said to consist of ten episodes. We are not quite sure whether the makers of Dead girls don’t lie are the right people to make a family-friendly game show for the Chick-Fil-A streaming channel. But hey, the world is a strange place.

In addition, Chick-Fil-A’s streaming service also has scripted and animated content planned. And the most shocking part is that Chick-Fil-A’s streaming service may launch later this year. We’ll have to keep an eye on whether or not this actually happens. Chick-Fil-A has not yet made any official statement about this streaming channel.
