Real Madrid is disappointed by Rodrygo’s behaviour

Real Madrid is “disappointed” with Rodrygo’s behaviour SPORTwhich cited anonymous sources.

This year, the Brazilian has made a few faux pas that have not gone down well with the club and its fans.

In the run-up to the Champions League final, Rodrygo seemed to flirt with a possible move from Los Blancos in an interview with “The 40 Years of Champions League”. DAZNand then described continental rivals Manchester City in another interview as the “best team in the world” GQ Spain.

This double controversy fell by the wayside as Madrid won their 15th UCL title by defeating Borussia Dortmund at Wembley, setting a new record.

Fending off City’s interest according to ASRodrygo started the 2024/2025 season well, scoring his team’s first goal in a 1-1 draw with Mallorca, but then he made another mistake.

In response to the tie and the trident of Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr., dubbed “BMV” by the press, Rodrygo argued for his own position in a now-deleted Telegram message.

“Hello guys, yesterday’s result was not what we wanted. In La Liga, every point makes the difference in the end. I am happy with the goal and the team’s development,” he began.

“Last week they talked about the trio of Bellingham, Mbappe and Vini, but they will have to add the R of Rodrygo to that acronym. We have a quartet of attackers and the rest of the team.”

“They are all important in the games and will show their value in the different competitions we participate in. The week until our next game at the Bernabeu will be full of hard work,” added Rodrygo.

A few days later, SPORT cites anonymous sources and explains how “Madrid assures that there is widespread dissatisfaction with Rodrygo’s behaviour”, while others, such as The DesmarqueRuben Uria believes his days at the Bernabeu are numbered.

“Rodrygo has no desire to leave Madrid, but the people who look after Rodrygo do,” said Uria. “And these people have to leave a door open because they know it is a difficult year for the sport. Next year he will leave Madrid.”

“Call him what you want, but Rodrygo will not be in Madrid next year,” Uria affirmed. “In football he has an alibi because he has quality. But for him recognition is important. For Rodrygo, being taken out of the BMV is a blow.”

As things stand, Rodrygo is not included in the acronym, but he is still part of head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s plans.

With Bellingham stronger than last season, Madrid’s attack essentially consists of a trio of Rodrygo, Mbappe and Vinicius.
