Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marriage is officially over after two years.

JLo finally put an end to her fans’ speculation by filing for divorce on Tuesday, August 20, marking the end of Bennifer 2.0.

According to court documents, the TMZLopez, 55, filed the paperwork without a lawyer on the second anniversary of their big wedding in Georgia. The couple previously eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022.

The documents did not indicate whether a prenuptial agreement existed, but insiders said there was none. Lopez also waived any claims for spousal support and asked Affleck, 52, to do the same.

Rumors of an impending divorce first emerged in May 2024, when the former couple reportedly began couples therapy. Fans noticed other clues, including the fact that the couple had not been seen together in over a month and frequently took off their wedding rings.

The signs became clearer as the months went by, with the couple spending their second wedding anniversary (their secret wedding) on ​​opposite coasts in July. They also celebrated their respective birthdays separately.
