“I wouldn’t have missed it!” – Ashley’s reality recap
“Jilly D was in the house!”

Jana Duggar said “I do” last week and got married Steven Wissman at a wedding surrounded by friends and their extra-large family. However, one Duggar— Jill Dillard— seemed suspiciously missing from the wedding photos that Jana & Co had posted, which led to Count on Fans are wondering online whether Jill was not invited to the wedding because of her estrangement from her father. Jim Bob Duggar.

Others wondered if a falling out had arisen between Jana and Jill – who were once very close – because Jill had recently published a tell-all book about her family.

While Jill Was was excluded from Jana’s wedding celebration, she confirmed on Tuesday that she not excluded from the wedding celebrations and that she and her husband Derick Dillard actually participated.

Jill posted a series of photos and videos from the wedding on Instagram, showing her and Derick posing with the bride and groom, as well as the entire Duggar family. (Jill and Derick’s three children were not at the wedding; however, Jill noted in the comments section of her post that the children attended a family dinner the night before the wedding. Jill mentioned that “space was tight” at the wedding, which had 500 guests.)

Despite the turmoil in her family, Jill told one person in the comments section of her post that she “wouldn’t miss it for the world!”

“Yes, we were invited. She was a beautiful bride,” she told another person. “We wish them all the best.”

Jill and Derick even posed for the family photo. (They are seen on the left in the back row.)

Jill and Derick were not the only “surprise” guests at Jana and Steven’s wedding. According to Jill, several crew members from 19 children and counting and ‘Counting On’ were also at the wedding. (Another attendee who caused astonishment was Anna Duggarhis husband Josh was obviously not present, as he is currently in federal prison. Interestingly, however, Anna and six of their seven children were excluded from the big Duggar family photo.)

Jana’s wedding went against several Duggars’ traditions and standards. Her wedding dress was off the shoulder and much “daring” than any other Duggar bride’s before it. She also disregarded the Duggar tradition of getting married in a church, opting instead for an event center, where Jana and her husband surprisingly had a “first dance” despite the Duggars’ opposition to dancing.)

“The first Duggar wedding with a first dance!” Jill wrote in the comments section of her post.

Jill continued to comment on the wedding in a series of photos she posted on Instagram Stories.

“What a beautiful day for a beautiful couple,” Jill wrote under a photo of her and Derick with the bride and groom. “Derick and I are so happy for all of you!”

Jill wasn’t the only Duggar sibling to express her joy that Jana had finally tied the knot. On Monday James posted more wedding photos along with a sweet message on his Instagram account.

“Seeing my sister marry the man of her dreams has filled my heart with so much joy!” he wrote. “She has found a wonderful, godly man who complements her in every way. I have prayed for this day for years and I couldn’t be more excited for you both!! I am so excited to see what God has in store for you all!”

As The Ashley previously reported, Jana plans to move to Nebraska, where Steven works in the family business. The couple will live in a home in need of renovation that they purchased last year.

Jana is also in the middle of nursing school, which she started last year in Arkansas. It is unknown if she will continue her education since she is now married.
