Heavy rock band Tesla brings its “Keepin’ It Real Tour” to the Artpark Mainstage Theater in Lewiston, NY, about 7 miles north of Niagara Falls, on Wednesday, August 28. The concert begins at 7 p.m., with opening acts Kurt Deimer and Stretch.
“We can’t wait to hit the stage and share our music once again with our incredible fans. The ‘Keepin’ It Real’ tour will be an unforgettable experience for everyone who comes along,” the group said in a statement.
The tour will continue throughout November and includes another stop in upstate New York on Saturday, September 14 at the del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo.

Tesla was formed in Sacramento, California in 1984 and was initially called City Kidd before changing their name to honor the inventor Nikola Tesla. They rose to fame in 1986 with their platinum debut album “Mechanical Resonance,” which included hits such as “Modern Day Cowboy.” Their 1989 album “The Great Radio Controversy” also went double platinum, with popular tracks such as “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song.”
The band continued to release successful albums throughout the 1990s, including “Psychotic Supper” and “Bust a Nut,” and has remained active since 2000 with four studio albums and their latest single, “Time to Rock!”.
