Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release the Garfield movie on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on August 27th.
The film grossed $255.4 million at the worldwide box office.
The animated film follows Garfield (voice: Chris Pratt), the world-famous Monday-hating, lasagna-loving house cat, as he prepares for a wild outdoor adventure. After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father – scruffy street cat Vic (voice: Samuel L. Jackson) – Garfield and his four-legged friend Odie are forced to abandon their perfectly pampered lives and accompany Vic on a hilarious, high-stakes heist.
