Tech Alpharetta relocates incubator for technology startups

Nonprofit organization moves into brand new premises in October 2024

ALPHARETTA, Ga., August 20, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tech Alpharetta, the nonprofit organization that helps the City of Alpharetta lead in tech innovation, today announced that it will move its technology startup incubator to new space at 925 North Point Parkway in Alpharetta this fall.

Since Tech Alpharetta’s incubator was founded in 2015, the local tech community has grown rapidly. With that growth comes demand for office space for startups. Tech Alpharetta’s new, custom-built space will double the incubator’s office space, giving even more young tech startups the opportunity to flourish.

Tech Alpharetta will continue to offer its hot desk members and tenants the exceptional educational programs, mentoring, pitch coaching, and connections with investors and other vendors for which its popular incubator has become known.

The new space offers ample free parking, Wi-Fi and high-speed internet, as well as complimentary snacks and coffee. Additionally, there is a world-class fitness facility right next to the incubator for members who wish to join.

“We are excited to move into our new and modern startup incubator this fall, which will allow us to better serve the strong tech startup community here in Alpharetta and the northern metro corridor,” says Karen Cashion, president and CEO of Tech Alpharetta. Tech Alpharetta, which partners with the City of Alpharetta, has operated its incubator in a city-owned building on Webb Bridge Road in Alpharetta since 2015. The incubator is home to more than 50 tech startups and has been a tremendous success, producing 21 graduate companies, 1,462 new jobs for the City of Alpharetta and a total of 2,064 new jobs for the state of Georgia.

“Tech Alpharetta’s new headquarters will allow even more technology companies to call Alpharetta home. The city has been a proud supporter and contributor to Tech Alpharetta’s success since its founding in 2012,” said Jim Gilvin, Mayor of the City of Alpharetta. “We look forward to our continued partnership and shared mission to make Alpharetta a leading technology hub in the region.”

The new incubator location is scheduled to open in October 2024, and Tech Alpharetta is now accepting reservations for its new tech startup offices and hot desks. For more information, contact Jade Rodgers, [email protected].
