Released in cinemas just last month, Deadpool and Wolverine Not only Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman appeared in the title roles, but numerous superheroes from the past were also back in the game.

From Jennifer Garner’s Elektra to Channing Tatum’s Gambit to Dafne Keen’s X-23, the Marvel film welcomed back old faces and introduced new ones in its foray into the multiverse.

Joining this star-studded cast was Wesley Snipes, who we all know as Blade, the vampire hunter who first appeared in the 1998 film. blade Film.

As the only live-action Blade ever to appear on screen, Snipes’ Blade will appear in Blade (but the 2025 version is not to be confused with the 1998 version).

However, since there have been several delays in the film’s production, it remains to be seen whether it will ever be made.

Anyway, it was a comment from Blade in Deadpool and Wolverine what the fans are talking about.

As the makeshift gang launches an attack on the enemy Cassandra Nova’s base, Wesley Snipes’ Blade makes a remark that while there will be several Punisher variants, there will be “only one Blade.”

Although Blade subsequently dies in the attack, the film’s final scenes show that not everything is as it seems and that many of the familiar faces from the film may still appear in future MCU projects.

Although some fans feared that this line might mean that the 2025 blade Film was cancelled, this was not confirmed.

Furthermore, other Marvel fans believe this could simply mean that Blade variants are actually rare in the multiverse, for reasons we don’t yet fully know.

Either way, it is clear that Marvel and especially its multiverse have a bright future ahead of them.
