Honor already has a big launch planned for next month, but the Chinese company has a few more surprises in store for its fans before the end of the year. One of those surprises is a brand new flagship phone set to launch in late 2024: the Magic 7 Pro. Rumors suggest that the Magic 7 Pro will be Honor’s first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Additionally, it looks like the phone will feature a triple camera setup, at least according to reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, who just released the phone’s schematic.

Although the image only shows the back of the phone, DGS also provided us with some additional information, such as the fact that the Magic 7 Pro will feature a micro-curved display with 3D facial recognition sensors.

In addition to the schematic provided by DGS, another informant named Teme published an image that was also created based on the information leaked so far. Just like the schematic, it only shows the back of the phone, which houses a triple camera and a large LED flash.

According to the informant, one of the phone’s cameras will feature a 180- or 200-megapixel Samsung HP3 periscope telephoto sensor. The camera island also houses a LiDAR sensor, an LED flash, a color temperature sensor, and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50K main and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor.

As mentioned, the Magic 7 Pro is said to have a curved OLED display with a pill-shaped cutout, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1.5K resolution. The phone is rumored to have a fairly large 6,000mAh battery, which is a slight improvement over the 5,600mAh battery on the Magic 6 Pro.

It’s still unclear when exactly Honor will unveil the successor to the Magic 6 Pro, but reports suggest the phone will be unveiled sometime in November. However, the Magic 6 Pro was unveiled in January, so we may have to wait until early next year for the successor.
