DU women’s tennis signs Natali Jaiani for 2024-25

DENVER – The University of Denver women’s tennis team welcomes Natali Jaiani for the 2024-25 season, head coach Paul Wardlaw was announced on Monday.

Jaiani signed her National Letter of Intent to join the team for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Jaiani is from Tbilisi, Georgia and has played for the Georgian national team. In May 2023, she reached her best WTA ranking to date of 1,227th. In 2023 and 2024, she won several main draw victories at ITF tournaments in her home country of Georgia. In doubles, she reached the quarterfinals of two ITF W15 tournaments last year.

During her junior career, she finished runner-up in singles at the ITF J30 tournaments in Tbilisi in May and July 2023 and reached two semifinals in doubles at ITF tournaments in Tbilisi in 2023.

Jaiani will be one of four new additions to Denver’s roster in the 2024/25 season, joining the junior transfers Hana Bečirovič Novak (previously at Long Beach State) and Marley Lambert (previously at Michigan State) and fellow student Natalie Cinkova.
