Matthias Edrich, tax partner at Kutak Rock, elected Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel (ACBC)

Matthias Edrich, tax partner at Kutak Rock, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel (ACBC) for the class of 2024. The admission as a Fellow of the ACBC is a recognition of the lawyer’s achievements and legal expertise in the field of bond law.

The American College of Bond Counsel was established in 1995 to recognise lawyers who have earned a reputation among their peers for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of bond law.

The College believes that a bond attorney’s professional competence is best judged by his or her peers and has sought to admit as members of the College only bond attorneys who have extensive experience and a reputation for excellence in municipal bond law. Membership in the College is extremely limited, and admission as a Fellow (i.e., member of the College) is a special recognition of the attorney’s achievements.

Matthias advises clients on the tax structuring of municipal and corporate debt transactions and on financing-related 501(c)(3) exemption matters. He has represented clients ranging from lenders and insurers to government and corporate issuers to large hospital systems, housing developers, energy and waste recycling companies, manufacturers, and various types of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Matthias is admitted to practice in Colorado, Idaho, Ohio, and Massachusetts.
