Given the labor shortage in Ukraine, there are specializations that face stiff competition. Here’s a look at which job postings are getting the most responses from job seekers.

According to a study by the job search portal Work.ua, job seekers updated or created 330,522 resumes in July, which is 9% more than in June. At the same time, competition has also increased, reaching the level of March 2024.

In which regions is the competition high?

Most job seekers were registered in the Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Kharkiv and Volyn regions. Employers received the fewest responses in the Donetsk, Kherson and Transcarpathian regions.

Which positions are most competitive?

As the study found, the category “Senior Management, Senior Management” fell out of the top 5 and was replaced by Marketing.

This is what the full list looks like:

– “Media, publishing, printing”;

– IT, computers, internet;

– Design, creativity;

– Culture, music, show business;

– Marketing, advertising, PR.

The most popular among job seekers are certain specializations such as developer, coder, web designer, direct manager, tester, graphic designer, video editor, illustrator, copywriter and translator.

The least competition can be observed in the following professions:

“security, protection”;

‘Work specialties, production’;

“Transportation, car business;

“Construction, architecture;

,Medicine, Pharmacy.
