Manila, Aug 18 (SocialNews.XYZ) At least seven people, including a two-year-old girl, were killed and eight injured in a collision between a minibus and a van in Quezon province, south of Manila, on Sunday.
Initial police investigations revealed that the van was heading north toward Manila when the accident occurred on a highway in Sariaya town on Sunday morning.
The driver of the delivery truck dozed off while driving, causing the vehicle to veer into the other lane and collide head-on with the oncoming truck.
The delivery van driver was among the dead, and the truck driver was seriously injured in the accident.
Further details are expected as the investigation is ongoing.
