“House of the Dragon”

Season two of HBO’s “House of the Dragon” on Max topped Samba TV’s list of top streaming programs for the week of August 5-11. The “Game of Thrones” prequel’s second season finale aired on July 28.

Also in the top 5 were the two “Jack Reacher” films with Tom Cruise, which became available on Netflix on August 1. The 2012 film Jack Reacher was No. 4, while its sequel, 2016 Jack Reacher: No Way Back was No. 2.

In third place was Netflix’s “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder”. The series adapts the young adult novel about a 17-year-old crime enthusiast who investigates the murder of a high school student.

5th place on the Samba TV list was Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Set several generations after Caesar’s reign in a world where apes are the dominant species, the film follows an ape named Noa and a human named Mae as they work together to determine the future of ape-human coexistence.

Samba TV, an analytics company that tracks viewership using smart TV data, ranks streaming programs by reach in U.S. households.
