FBI investigates harassment of White Women For Kamala spokesperson, “Mrs Frazzled” comedian Arielle Fodor, for “dystopian” speech

Someone needs a break!

(Or, you know, a long prison sentence).

Last month’s highly publicized “White Women For Kamala” Zoom meeting led to an FBI investigation and a court case after one of the speakers was bombarded with death threats, harassing calls and “doxxing” attacks.

Teacher turned social media star Arielle Fodor has gained more than a million followers on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook with her mix of comedy and commentary on the world of education.

In her trademark recurring character, Fodor – in the role of “Mrs. Frazzled” – teases stereotypical politically incorrect aunts and uncles by portraying them as toddlers who have a hard time playing nice with the other kids, and she uses her skills as a kindergarten teacher to set them on the right path.

When Shannon Watts, organizer of White Women For Kamala, asked Fodor on the conference call to talk about how the eponymous white woman should interact with social media users of color in the run-up to the election, Fodor mixed some heartfelt advice with some of her “Mrs. Frazzled” schtick, such as urging viewers to “use your ears” when talking to diverse followers.

But some influential online rights activists, including X-owner Elon Musk and Daily Wire commentator Ben Shapiro, didn’t seem to get the joke – and apparently thought Fodor was really Was and talking to the Zoom crowds as if they were toddlers.

And it seems that her followers lost their composure when they discovered that she was gently poking fun at imaginary, right-wing extremist relatives in videos.

The speech was described as “woke,” “dystopian” and “like an episode of Black Mirror,” a reference to Charlie Brooker’s dark satire about technology and politics.

Now Fodor tells us she had to call authorities after her tormentors called her and her family, sent her pizza – presumably to prove they knew where she lived – and threatened to post her personal information online. She told us she received 11 death threats.

“I was shocked by the violence and aggressiveness (of the response),” she told us. “I’m not used to this kind of thing. I’m used to people being rude (online). But this was so aggressive. It’s scary.”

Lawyers will appear in court on Monday seeking a temporary restraining order against a particularly relentless alleged harasser.

But she says that this does not deter her; on the contrary, it makes her ironic videos seem even more important to her.

“This just proves the need to have places (online) where we can vent our frustrations (amid the tense political climate),” she said.

Fodor taught kindergarten from 2018 to 2021 and started her TikTok account in March 2020 to find community with other teachers during school closures due to the COVID pandemic.

In 2022, she took a break from teaching after the birth of her daughter.

About 160,000 people participated in the “White Women For Kamala” Zoom call to support Kamala Harris’ campaign for the White House.

More than $2 million was raised.
