Frozen 3 ushers in the holidays with a fall release date

James Cameron returns to the director’s chair for more “Avatar” sequels
For a while it was unclear whether James Cameron would direct again Avatar Franchise. There were rumors that the Oscar-winning filmmaker would pass the torch to another director after Avatar3 (officially titled Avatar: Fire and Ashes) and is only working on the sequels as a producer. “Sure. Absolutely. I mean, they’re going to have to stop me. I’ve got tons of energy and I love what I do. Why wouldn’t I do it? And the stories are written, by the way. I re-read them both about a month ago. They’re great stories. They need to be done. Look, if I get hit by a bus and I’m in an iron lung, someone else will do it.”
In addition to this news, the filmmaker also shared the release dates for both Avatar 4 and 5, which are expected to hit theaters in 2029 and 2031 respectively. Although it will be a while before the sequels come out, he also gave an update on when Michelle Yeoh will be part of the franchise. Greta Gerwig will not be making a “Barbie” sequel any time soon
