Girls Golf

Invitation to East Jackson: Due to rain at Lakeland Hills Golf Course, Columbia Central High School won the modified nine-hole tournament. Some players completed 16 holes, others completed 10 before the rain began again. The committee selected the best nine holes from the team’s two-man teams. Each team had three scramble teams to achieve a team score. Columbia Central won the tournament with scores of 30, 33 and 44 for a total of 107. Western finished fourth (123), East Jackson seventh (130), Northwest eighth (136), Lumen Christi 10th (143), Jackson 11th (150) and Grass Lake 12th (151).

Northwest 0, Tecumseh 0: Defense dominated the day as neither team was able to score a win in Tecumseh.

Boys Tennis

Lumen Christi in West Hills Quad: The Titans lost to North Muskegon 5-3 in an indoor competition at West Hills in Kalamazoo. The Titans won three of four doubles matches with victories by Luke DuMont/Maden Brady at No. 2 doubles, Chase Schirmacher/TJ O’Neil at No. 3 doubles and Brogan Kelly/Harrison Botke at No. 4 doubles.
