Beginning with Sunday service, SacRT is making significant improvements to bus service in Folsom to better serve the community.
SacRT has announced the addition of weekend service on the F10 bus route to provide more options for convenient travel throughout the city.
What is changing?
- New weekend service on line F10: Weekend service begins on the F10 bus route, including stops along Main Avenue and Madison Avenue.
- Changes to the American River Canyon Drive: While the F10 bus route no longer serves stops on American River Canyon Drive, the first morning run and the last two evening runs will continue to serve this area.
- Improvements for Route F20: Bus service has been expanded to serve Blue Ravine Road to East Bidwell Street and Creekside Drive, including a stop near Folsom Middle School and Creekside Drive. The morning service departs Empire Ranch Road 13 minutes earlier at 7:27 a.m.
- Setting the line F30: Due to low ridership, the F30 bus route will be discontinued. Savings from this change will be reinvested in improving the F10 bus route. If you need transportation to or from Folsom Prison, Folsom SmaRT Ride offers a convenient on-demand service.
- Improved light rail service available soon: SacRT continues construction to provide 15-minute service to light rail stations in the Folsom area, with a project scheduled for completion in October 2024.
