Women’s tennis announces fall program

NORFOLK, Virginia – Dominic Manilla, head coach of the Old Dominion women’s tennis team, announced Friday the fall 2024 schedule for its program of five traditional tournaments and two International Tennis Federation (ITF) events.

The Monarchs are coming off an 18-6 season in which they won the Sun Belt Conference for the second consecutive year, their third consecutive league title, and advanced to a round of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive year.

ODU will begin play in Chapel Hill, NC at the Kitty Harrison Invitational hosted by North Carolina. They will return to the Tar Heel State to compete in the All-American Classic in Cary, NC from September 21-29. During this time, some team members will also compete in the Georgia Southern Invitational from September 25-27.

In October, the team will travel to Charlottesville for the ITA Atlantic Regional from October 17-20. The Fall Masters will be held in San Diego from November 7-10. This is the final qualifying event for the NCAA Individual Championships, which will be held in Waco, Texas from November 19-24.

The Monarchs will also compete in two ITF events from September 25-29 in Berkeley, California, and October 7-13 in Redding, California.
