comedian Rob Schneider told Tucker Carlson Because of his conservative politics, he was blacklisted in Canada and on late-night television.

“You were punished by the Canadians for telling rude jokes,” Carlson mentioned during a long conversation with Schneider for the latest episode of The Tucker Carlson Show.

Carlson was referring to Schneider’s appearance at a charity event in Canada in June being cut short after he offended organizers with jokes about vaccinations and transgenderism. The organization eventually apologized after complaints went public.

“They really gave me a hard time and it didn’t hurt at all,” Schneider joked.

According to Schneider, the joke that led to the backlash is one in which he pretends to be a father who pressures his son to pretend to identify as a woman so he can play and then dominate in athletics. The former Saturday Night Live The cast member made no apologies for the humor and insisted that people laugh.

“I’m glad I did it, and I’ll do it again if you let me back into the country!” he said.

“I assume they won’t do that?” Carlson replied.

“I will not be allowed back into the country – because of ‘hate speech’, because of Jokes!” said Schneider.

“And you’re not allowed to appear on late-night television either?” Carlson then asked.

“I am not invited,” said Schneider.

The comedian said his criticism of vaccinations and conservative views also led to a soft ban from late-night television, but claimed it did not bother him because he sees the format as close to political propaganda these days.

“A lot of late-night television is political indoctrination with comedic imposition. It’s not so much like comedy anymore, but more like fueling rhetoric and attacking a particular half of the country,” he said.

Schneider criticized the fact that late-night comedians are interchangeable in their humor and views.

“You can literally replace the dialogue with a night owl’s jokes and then put them in this guy’s mouth, and there’s just no individual point of view because everything is really ideologically captured,” he said.
