The Women in Networking program takes place on Thursday | News, Sports, Jobs

For over a decade, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Jamestown Community College has hosted the Women in Networking Chautauqua program every month.

This program is designed for women entrepreneurs and women working in the business sector. The program is also sponsored by Community Bank. The SBDC Women in Networking program is designed for women to share ideas and experiences and address difficult problems. The SBDC has helped build productive business relationships that benefit women throughout the region through this program. The cost to attend the luncheon is $18 by check or credit card. This event will be held at Jamestown Community College, Carnahan Building, Room 120. To make a reservation or for more information about this monthly program, contact the SBDC at 716-338-1024 or visit our website at www.sbdcjcc.org. The next WIN program will be held Thursday at noon at the JCC and will focus on the small business services offered by the Resource Center.

Speakers include Jacqueline Phelps, Deputy Executive Director of QAQI & Compliance, and Terri Johnson, Director of Employment and Community Support.

The Resource Center has been providing services to people with disabilities in the Chautauqua County area since 1958 and has grown into a comprehensive agency that provides services to thousands of people with disabilities of all types and levels of severity. The Resource Center’s manufacturing division, Allied Industries, has worked with local and regional manufacturers for over 30 years.

Allied provides reliable, supervised and enthusiastic employees to eliminate production bottlenecks and add value through labor-intensive processes. Save the date on September 12th when Andrea Liebross, author of “She Thinks Big for Female Entrepreneurs,” will be our speaker.
