“Best decision of my life”

Savannah Guthrie looks back fondly on her wedding day.

The Today The co-host celebrated her seventh wedding anniversary on Monday and shared old photos from her ceremony while paying her respects to her husband Michael Feldman.

The couple – who now have a daughter, Vale (6), and a son, Charles “Charley” Max (4) – married on March 15, 2014, in a private ceremony outside Guthrie’s hometown of Tucson, Arizona.

“Where were you 7 years ago today? I made the best decision of my life. Happy anniversary @feldmike 🥰,” Guthrie, 49, captioned her post.

Guthrie and Feldman opened up for Discover with Drew and Jonathan Scott in October about parenting during the pandemic, with the couple explaining how they alternate their responsibilities.

“Mike is Chief Technology Officer and Chief Grilling Officer. He sets the alarm and gets up early every day to help me prepare for the Today show,” Guthrie said. “And he gets the kids ready for Zoom school. Then, about mid-morning, it’s my turn to take over for a while so he can do his real job as the founder of a strategic consulting firm.”

Feldman explained that Guthrie’s morning television commitments fit well with her schedule.

“A lot of Savannah’s workday is spent when the kids are still sleeping,” he said. “That’s good on one hand, but then she has to immediately switch into mom mode, still in her makeup, while I disappear for conference calls.”

“So she’s ‘on the air’ from 4 a.m. when she gets up until the kids go to bed at night,” Feldman added. “I’m impressed with her ability to create structure. I’m trying to find an acceptable time for a cocktail, and she’s like, ‘Okay, craft time!'”
